Week #8 & Week #9: Podcasts & Audio & Answer Boards

Today's lesson involved learning about Podcasts and how other organisations and people use this type of technology.

In this day and age, Libraries such as ours could utilise this to more actively advertise such things as author visits, HSC lectures or even showing snippets of storytime or bookclub on the website so as to entice patrons to attend these sessions. It gives the patrons a first hand look and listen to what exactly happens at the Library.

This week I also touched on Answer boards in my training. I believe that these types of things would come in handy in the library, especially for things like online tutoring and technical type forums.
